Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School at Resurrection is a unique experience. We enjoy all the same activities as a typical Vacation Bible School: arts and crafts, recreation time outside, treats, Bible stories, and music.
What makes our week unique is that we do it all through a musical. Throughout the week the children learn the music and words to a musical that tells a Biblical story. Middle and high school students act as counselors, shepherding the kids through the process, playing outdoor games with them, singing with them and leading by example. Sets and costumes are created by volunteers and a host of people come and play in the Resurrection pit orchestra for the Thursday night performance.
2024 Vacation Bible School
Dates: Sunday, July 28, 1-4 pm
and Monday, July 29 - Thursday, Aug. 1, 9 am-noon.
Ages: Students age 4 through grade 6 (fall 2024)
